Description
Super Safety cut Geissele triggers for use in the Lee Sporting Lowers. These triggers are machined for the purpose of running reliably in a Super Safe MP5. The SD-C and SSA give you the option of having a straight bow trigger or a curved one, respectively. These triggers provide an extraordinarily smooth shooting experience. They also come with the full super safety kit, including a Geissele hammer, cam shaft, cam lever, detent, centering block, and a safety indicator plug.
The SD-C and SSA triggers are capable of firing approximately 1,200 rounds per minute in an MP5K. The G2S runs around 900 rounds per minute. These triggers provide an extraordinarily smooth shooting experience.
Important Notice:
Geissele Super Safeties are not compatible with the MP5-K (short) variant. This configuration is strongly discouraged due to the precise tuning required and the significantly increased mechanical stress caused by the MP5-K’s shortened bolt travel. When improperly built or equipped with non–full-auto-rated components, this setup can drive cyclic rates exceeding 1300+ RPM, which can result in accelerated wear or catastrophic damage to the weapon.
Additionally, please note that the MP5-K platform with Giessele trigger combination may exhibit reliability issues when switching between different ammunition grain weights or transitioning between suppressed and unsuppressed operation. These changes can disrupt timing, alter bolt velocity, and lead to malfunction or complete failure to cycle.
For these reasons, we do not recommend this combination.
Use only high-quality, full-auto-rated components and ensure the firearm is tuned by a War Hammer approved professional.
