IMPORTANT: Use of a Super Safety in an HK MR556 or HK 416 requires a full-auto–capable bolt carrier or the included extender plug.
This kit includes a bolt carrier extender plug specifically engineered to enable proper Super Safety function on the MR556 platform. Additional technical details are provided below.

Product Overview

This kit features a Geissele trigger and hammer assembly for the HK MR556, precision-modified with the patent-pending War Hammer Armaments Super Safety cut, allowing proper interface with the Super Safety system.

Because the factory MR556 bolt carrier lacks the required geometry to actuate a Super Safety cam lever arm, Warren Innovative Technologies developed a dedicated bolt carrier extender plug to restore correct interaction.

Bolt Carrier Extender Plug

• Required only for MR556 bolt carriers
• Not required when using a true HK 416 bolt carrier
• 3D-printed from carbon fiber–reinforced, high-temperature nylon
• Designed to withstand repeated cam lever impact
• Retained securely in the bolt carrier via an expander screw

Critical installation note:
The firing pin and firing pin spring must be installed before the extender plug is installed.
Once the plug is in place, the firing pin components cannot be removed.
